Waste2Wear – Ocean Plastic Project
This Waste2Wear Ocean Plastic Project bring stakeholders together in a joint effort to find solutions to reduce plastic pollution in the oceans. This is an example of collaboration to achieve profound and positive system change.
Waste2wear, Universities from China and the Netherlands, supported by the Dutch Consulate in Shanghai, as well as Chinese NGO’s, and a large number of companies, came together to tackle this problem through innovation and awareness. The Waste2Wear Ocean Plastic Project aims to develop supply chains based on Ocean Waste and to conduct upstream research to identify pollution sources in order to support the advance of new industry standards and regulatory policies. Digital Movers is responsible for the complete activation and optimization of the Waste2Wear Ocean Plastic Project. This is done by optimizing the website through SEO, the creation of SEA campaigns and running an Awareness campaign through Social and LinkedIn. Collaborating with brands like Wehkamp, Claudia Strater, Expresso, Steps, Oililly and Promiss is part of this great campaign.
