About Back to Black Coffee
Back to Black is an Amsterdam coffee roaster, bakery, training room and has two of the nicest coffee bars in the city.
They carefully select the green bean importers of our coffee. Their importers encourage farmers in various ways to work more sustainably and better, for example by offering higher prices for better produced coffee or by advising them on location about growing, processing and storing the coffee.
They find it very important to make all links in the process, from coffee berry to cup of coffee, as transparent as possible, so that the consumer can obtain all information about the coffee. They believe that this is an important step towards more sustainable coffee production.
