Meet Leonne Van De Ven – Director of De Wolven

Digital Movers is growing fast and that would not be possible without one of our key partners with whom we work on a regular basis: De Wolven. We are very proud and grateful for this collaboration, so it is time to introduce you to the face behind the company and driving force of De Wolven: Leonne.

Tell us who you are!

I am Leonne van de Ven, director of De Wolven.

We work for companies that have a story to tell: especially in sustainability, healthcare, art & culture, education and science. And companies with a social meaning.

We care about what matters to you

De Wolven is a PR and communication agency, located in the heart of Amsterdam. With a team of passionate advisors, we ensure on daily basis that we tell the stories of our clients. Via media, social media, campaigns, influencers and sometimes just from person to person.

We do everything that has to do with communication and related to PR, copy and concept. We prefer to work closely with (online) marketing and content creators because we believe in the power of collaboration and integrated campaigns. We always approach a communication ‘request’ from a 360 degree vision.

De Wolven has been around for 15 years now and we have a team of 10 and a team of four permanent freelancers, both PR, communication, marketing and branding specialists.

We work for companies that have a story to tell: especially in sustainability, healthcare, art & culture, education and science. And companies with a social meaning. The size of a company, big or small, makes no difference for us. We also educate PR at The New School, HBO for Marketing Communication, at the Theater Academy and the Conservatory. We are also associated with Frankwatching as permanent experts.

“Through our collaboration, we increase the success of campaigns, sometimes with a 40% increase in website visits or downloads.”

Years of successful collaboration based on expertise and content

De Wolven and Digital Movers are working together for a long time already, and I have to say: in a very successful way! We complement each other, in the funnel!

Through our collaboration we increase the success of campaigns, sometimes with a 40% increase in website visits or downloads. We are both organizations that work from the content. It is central to our approach. We make full use of our expertise and ensure that content ends up in the right places and that people are actually encouraged to take action.

The success in our collaboration is characterized by the fact that we recognize and acknowledge the strengths of both companies, and therefore always want the client to be best helped in his or her question.

And perhaps most importantly: it is always a lot of fun to work together!

Looking back on the past years of collaboration

Not to brag about, but our campaigns are always good. Mainly because we work together on the basis of content.

I always find it difficult to choose highlights in our collaboration because there is always something special in the collaboration with every assignment. But if we have to name some names or projects, Waste2Wear, Element Logic and HeinekenPrizes are the first ones that come to mind.

Well, and for the future I hope that the cooperation will become even stronger than it already is. I firmly believe in the combination of PR and online marketing. In many organizations these worlds are separate and that is a real shame. Mainly because of this combination, a campaign can be more successful and you create valuable attention for your story.

How do I live life? Live as if it could be the last day of your life. Never regret, always look ahead. Be kind to each other and treat others as you would like to be treated. And above all, always be honest.

Meet the lady behind the professional

I grew up in a big family and I love the buzz of people together. I am married and have three teenagers at home: two girls and a boy.

How do I live life? Live as if it could be the last day of your life. Never regret, always look ahead. Be kind to each other and treat others as you would like to be treated. And above all, always be honest. As my grandmother always said, no matter how fast the lie is, the truth will catch up with it. That is also a good rule of thumb for our profession: always be honest and sincere, because people will find out if something is not right.

The number of hobbies I have is almost too many to list, but here it comes: I am a dancer. Yes, since I was four I have been going to ballet lessons every week. My other two big hobbies are horseback riding and especially nowadays I guide my two daughters in this area. And together with my son I train weekly in the pool. Hahahaha, and I love those  bad American police series!
