Digital Movers is growing fast and that would not be possible without one of our partners with whom we work on a regular basis: JKC Media B.V. We are very proud and grateful for this collaboration, so it is time to introduce you to the face behind the company and driving force of JKC Media B.V.: Justin van Dongen.

Tell us who you are!

I am Justin van Dongen, founder at JKC Media B.V. I am mainly involved in project management, customer contact and web development.

I started as a freelancer when I was 13 and registered with the Chamber of Commerce in graphic design and 3D animation. I soon found out that my passion is more related to web development and I started JKC Media when I was 14 (March 22, 2017). Now almost 5 years later (our 5th anniversary is in March), we are working with 11 people from the creative Strijp-S in Eindhoven (Brainport region) on various projects from major clients such as Amsterdam UMC and High Tech Campus Eindhoven as for small and medium-sized enterprises through the Netherlands and Belgium.

JKC Media is specialized in developing effective and findable websites and webshops.

About JKC Media B.V.

JKC Media B.V. is a web development company. We are located in Eindhoven Strijp-S, the ‘place-to-be’ in the creative/marketing sector in the south of the Netherlands. Also known for the Dutch Design Week (DDW) and it is located in the Brainport region. The main services we offer are WordPress website and webshop development, corporate identity design and content creation.

We are a young and innovative company, consisting of a team of young people between 16 and 22 with various functions such as web developers, graphic designers and content creators. We are all down to earth people from Brabant who love humor but also deliver what they say. Delivering quality is our top priority. We have a no-nonsense mentality, we act proactively, we work result-oriented and we attach great value to personal contact.

We work for various large clients such as Amsterdam UMC, High Tech Campus Eindhoven, Sirius Medical and RunX, but the vast majority of our clients are small companies. This is interesting for us because we can make the most impact for this target group with that conversion-oriented, easily findable and professional website (which is therefore not only ‘beautiful’).

Adding value to each others work

We work together with Digital Movers on various (WordPress) web development projects, this often goes hand in hand with a marketing/SEO campaign. Some customers who come to Digital Movers have a website that could be optimised, so the efforts in a marketing campaign do not deliver as intended. This also includes the added value of the collaboration between Digital Movers and JKC Media. Without a good marketing campaign or without a good website, it will ultimately not deliver what it should do.

What once started as an introduction on a cold Friday morning in October 2020 is now one of our favorite partners to work with.

Looking back on the past years of collaboration

We know Digital Movers as a company with whom we have a very pleasant collaboration. What once started as an introduction on a cold Friday morning in October 2020 is now one of our favorite partners to work with. We are grateful for the projects that we can work on together that are carried out with great pleasure.

One of the highlights and special projects that we have been able to do together (and for) Digital Movers is that we are currently building and designing the new website of Digital Movers itself.

I see the future of our collaboration optimistically. We believe that we can continue to offer added value to both Digital Movers itself and its customers for a long time to come.

Meet the man behind the professional

In my spare time I like to play piano and can be found in the gym regularly. In addition, I like to travel (which is unfortunately a bit more difficult now with COVID restrictions).

I am also following a part-time study at the Avans University of Applied Sciences: Business IT & Management (BSc). From the age of 8 I made stop-motion movies of LEGO toys with my ‘Nintendo DSi’. I then assembled it with Windows Live Movie Maker on my laptop and put it online on YouTube. In total, I have reached 1,000,000 views with my LEGO videos (these videos are now private).

I have now been on almost all media platforms with my company: NOS.nl, Omroep Brabant, AD, NU.nl, Brabants Dagblad, NPO Radio 1 etc.
